News Article :: Massive upgrades planned for the TR Site

We are in the process of completely overhauling our website in an effort to bring our users more products, information and make the website even more user friendly. We anticipate the new site launching in the Autumn of 2008 but before we start the work we'd like to get input and feedback from our users.
Some of the planned upgrades are as follows:
More products
By working with some of the world's leading components manufacturers we intend to add hundreds of new products. You may have already seen the addition of Gesipa® blind riveting products and we will be adding POP® blind riveting products in the next few months. In addition to these we anticipate adding many more product ranges including: Seals, Quick-release fasteners, tools, construction fixings, bearings, plastic parts, clips, threadlocking sealants, adhesives and more.
Upgraded Knowledge Base (Engineering Library)
Many more articles covering topics such as: Selecting the right fastener, materials, torque settings, finishes, plastics and more
Project Toolkit
More intuitive, more powerful and the ability to upload your own drawings
On-line sales
We never intend to be a major on-line retailer of fasteners but many engineers want to buy small volumes for R&D purposes so we are looking for a way to provide this service, possible in partnership with one of our distributors
CAD library
We hope to double the number of available CAD models within the next 12 months.
Newsletters
A newsletter system that is relevant to your job function and your industry. For example, if you are a design engineer in the automotive industry you would receive newsletters from us specifically about fasteners and components used in the manufacture of vehicles.
